2. Key Functions
(1) Full-range Signal Acquisition
The green terminal blocks on the left collect all analog and digital signals from the chiller, including chilled/cooling water temperature, refrigerant high/low pressure, lube oil pressure, flow switch feedback, freeze protection and overload interlock signals, gathering all operational data of the unit.
(2) System Operation Logic Control
Equipped with an onboard microcontroller, the board calculates operating parameters based on collected temperature and pressure readings. It automatically adjusts compressor capacity and controls start-stop of chilled water pumps, condenser pumps and cooling tower fans. It also executes full safety protection logic including high/low pressure protection, oil differential protection and anti-freeze shutdown.
