2. Main Function

It is installed inside the chiller’s oil filter housing of compressor lubrication circuit:

• Effectively traps metal abrasion debris, welding residues and sludge contaminants suspended in refrigeration lubricant oil.
• Purifies circulating oil to protect compressor bearings, rotors and oil pump components from scratch or oil-path blockage, preventing low-oil-pressure alarm and unexpected unit shutdown.

2. Three Types & Functions

(1) Oil Filter Assembly (Black/White spin-on & canister style)

Installed on compressor lubrication oil circuit.It removes metal debris, abrasive particles and contaminants from refrigeration lubricant, to protect compressor bearings, oil pump and oil pump inverter board from wear or blockage failure. Two mainstream structures: spin-on disposable filter and bolt-on canister filter.

(2) Inner Replacement Filter Cartridges (Silver mesh & perforated metal elements)

The insert core fitted inside oil filter housings. Multi-layer mesh structure traps fine impurities in lubricating oil; replaceable during regular chiller maintenance.

(3) Liquid Line Filter Drier (Light gray Y-type with orange port)

Mounted on refrigerant liquid pipeline ahead of electronic expansion valve. It absorbs moisture inside refrigerant and intercepts system dirt, avoiding ice clogging and damage to expansion valve core.

2. Core Function

This component is installed on the liquid refrigerant pipeline of chillers, right before the electronic expansion valve:

1. Moisture Absorption: Filled with molecular sieve desiccant inside to soak up residual water in refrigerant, preventing ice clogging inside expansion valve and pipeline corrosion.
2. Solid Filtration: Built-in fine mesh screen to trap welding slag, metal debris and oxide particles, protecting expansion valve core and compressor from abrasion or blockage damage.

This is the Carrier HMI Operator Display Panel, the dedicated human-machine interface for Carrier 19XR series centrifugal chillers. It matches the previously introduced CCM I/O Module and ISM Integrated Starter Module to form a complete control system for large commercial central air conditioning chillers.

2. Main Functions

(1) Real-time Operation Data Monitoring

It receives operational data transmitted from the CCM mainboard, and displays all real-time working parameters including chilled & cooling water temperature, refrigerant pressure, compressor loading rate, motor voltage & current, oil pump, water pump and cooling fan status.

(2) Local Unit Control & Parameter Configuration

Technicians can start or stop the chiller locally via the panel buttons. It also supports access to the setting menu to configure target water temperature, maximum load limit and startup/shutdown logic parameters.

(3) Fault Alarm & History Inquiry

When faults such as high/low pressure trip, oil differential failure or anti-freeze protection happen, the screen pops up corresponding fault codes and detailed failure descriptions automatically. All historical fault records are stored inside for maintenance troubleshooting.

(4) Data Communication with Main Control Board

It exchanges bidirectional data with the CCM I/O control board via internal communication wiring, acting as the interactive terminal between field operators and the chiller’s core control system.

3. Application Scope

As an original OEM spare part exclusively for Carrier 19XR centrifugal chillers, this display is installed on the control cabinet of large water-cooled chillers for office buildings, shopping malls and industrial facilities.

1. Product Overview

This is the Carrier CCM Chiller I/O Module (Model CEPL130260), an original OEM main control board exclusively designed for Carrier 19XR series centrifugal chillers. It is matched and used together with the ISM Integrated Starter Module introduced earlier, serving as the core controller for large commercial central air-conditioning chillers widely installed in office buildings, shopping malls and industrial plants.

2. Core Functions

(1) Full-unit Signal Collection

The green pluggable terminal blocks on the left collect all analog and digital feedback signals from the chiller, including chilled/cooling water temperature, refrigerant high/low pressure, lubricating oil pressure, flow switch status, freeze protection and all safety interlock signals to gather the full operating data of the unit.

(2) System Logic & Auxiliary Equipment Control

Equipped with an onboard microprocessor, this board calculates operating conditions based on real-time collected temperature and pressure data. It automatically adjusts compressor loading and controls the start-stop of chilled water pumps, condenser pumps and cooling tower fans. Meanwhile, it realizes complete safety protection logics such as high/low pressure protection, oil differential protection and anti-freeze shutdown.

(3) Two-way Communication with ISM Module

It sends compressor start/stop control commands to the ISM integrated starter module, and receives real-time electrical parameters including three-phase operating voltage, running current and ground fault signals fed back from ISM to realize coordinated compressor control and fault interlock protection.

(4) Fault Storage & Parameter Configuration

Once unit faults occur, the board automatically stores fault codes and uploads operating data & fault information to the chiller display panel. The red DIP switch bank on the PCB is used to configure communication address and unit parameters to adapt to different specifications of 19XR chillers.

3. Application

It is an authentic original spare part for Carrier centrifugal chillers. Combined with the ISM starter board, it constitutes the complete core control system and is a critical replacement component for chiller maintenance and overhaul projects.
